Event TicketingArt.Industries vs Eventbrite

Event ticketing software helps publish events, collect registrations, sell tickets and manage people at the door. Inside a broader business platform, an event also becomes part of each contact’s history. Invitations begin with the people you already know, attendance remains connected to them, and the next campaign, presentation or conversation can continue from the same record.

Eventbrite does more ticketing and gives public events access to a marketplace where new audiences can find them. Art.Industries takes a different approach: events are one part of the platform, connected to the contacts, catalogue and sales behind them. This comparison covers ticketing, invitations, discovery, attendance and fees.

Beyond event ticketing

Attendance stays with the contact

Eventbrite keeps orders and attendance within its event records and makes attendee reports exportable. Art.Industries also keeps attendance on each person’s contact record, beside their invitations, interests, purchases and other activity with the business.

Different fee models

Eventbrite charges a service fee on paid tickets, with buyers paying by default, while free events carry no ticketing fee. Art.Industries takes no cut of ticket sales; payments go through the organiser’s own Stripe account at Stripe’s standard processing rates.
